Julie Kilborn: Auld Lang Syne: Julie Kilborn: Auld Lang Syne

I was particularly moved by the beautiful arrangement of Auld Lang Syne and the Last Post.  You played it with such feeling.  Who is the arranger please and is it possible to buy the music?

en Ings: 9/11 coverage Just watched the BBC coverage of the London 9/11 commemorative concert in Grosvenor Square. You should be very proud of yourselves. Such a moving ceremony, made more so by your playing. I was particularly moved by your rendition of Auld Lang Syne. Congratulations and well done.

Joyce mcNae: 9/11 memorial: Joyce mcNae: 9/11 memorial

I have just listened to your Bands contribution to the 9/11 memorial service in London and would like to congratulate you on a very moving and poignant performance.  I particularly liked the piece played from the film Gettysburg I am sorry I don't know its proper name. I also enjoyed Auld Lang Syne with the Last Post being played along side.  Can you pass on my thanks to all members of your band for all their commitment and hard work.  I would like to purchase a CD of your music to hopefully include both pieces and would be grateful if you could inform me where I could do so.

With kindest regards

Joyce McNae

Ange King: Phenomenal: Ange King: Phenomenal

Hi,

I just wanted to say a huge WELL DONE and Thanks! for a most wonderful concert at the Welfare tonight. The selection of music was interesting, varied, well performed and enjoyable. I couldn't help thinking that I'd rather have liked to have been playing on some of the old favourites like Hymn to the Fallen and Florentina March :-)

Reunion and Finale was outstanding as was Toccata (well done to the Xylophonist chap!!) Actually, biased though I am, I have to say that the whole percussion section were brilliant (Cheers Dave. D.. that tenner will come in handy!)

The Conductor, David, was witty, informative and sensitive in just the right measure and he judged the audience well so another well done to him :)

The King Family will certainly be supporting you all the way to the National Finals and beyond. Thanks again !

Just returned home after seeing the band perform for the first time at a concert held in the Parish Church in Gainsborough 10 October 2009.  I must say what a fantastic experience this was.  The band were fantastic and the accoustics of the church were brilliant.  Many thanks to all in the band for such an enjoyable performance and we look forward to seeing you perform again in the near future.

Good luck for the future.
